A 8ª edição do TecStorm, que reuniu mais de 500 inscrições, avaliou 28 projetos e elegeu 8 finalistas nas quatro categorias a concurso. Conheça os vencedores.

TecStorm abre inscrições a estudantes com ideias inovadoras

As inscrições para a hackathon universitária estão abertas até 20 de dezembro e vai atribuir prémios, no valor total de 10 mil euros, para projetos inovadores de estudantes.

Em 8 anos, a competição já contou com 739 participantes e distribuiu mais de 50 000€ em prémios.
A competição tem o objetivo de incentivar o empreededorismo jovem e a promoção de ideias inovadoras.

Unable to arrange transportation for the event?

All your transportation expenses will be covered for the final.

Missing the essential technical materials for your project?

All necessary technical materials will be provided.

Have no idea how to build a business model or pitch?

Our mentors will ensure you have the right tools to develop a pitch and a business mode.

Already worked on an idea that you would like to participate with in TecStorm?

You can onboard with a project that is already in progress but not yet completed. The project's progress will be one of the key factors evaluated.

Are foreign students accepted in this competition?

Foreign participants are accepted on the condition that they have at least one Portuguese-speaking student on their team and are enrolled in a university in Portugal.

Don't have a team?

You can register individually, and we'll match you with a team later.

Don’t have accommodations for the final weekend?

We provide accommodation for all finalists who are not from the area.

Not an university student anymore?

You can still participate if you completed your university studies less than one year ago.

Do you happen to have more than one project idea?

You can participate with multiple projects, but only one will be selected.

How will the evaluation be conducted?

The evaluation will be ongoing and will consider various factors, such as progress during the competition, the prototype, a pitch, and a business model that will be presented to a jury panel.

Is it enough for just one member of the team to complete the registration?

No, the registration is individual, so each member of your team must register. Later, on the official platform, you will have the opportunity to form groups as you wish.
