10th Edition Winners

EvDcGrid
Galp

Digital Energy & Smart Revolution

This category invited participants to develop innovative digital solutions for energy and mobility aligned with Galp's sustainability goals, leveraging technologies like AI, blockchain, and automation to optimize energy systems and create impactful, real-world prototypes for the energy transition.

Winner

EvDcGrid won first place with an innovative solution that enabled electric vehicles to be charged directly through public lighting poles. By converting alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC), it increased the energy capacity of the infrastructure, creating a broader, more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective charging network for cities.

ElderAI
Vodafone

Connectivity for a Brighter Future

This category challenged participants to create solutions that harnessed the power of 5G to improve people's lives and transform communities. The goal was to generate real impact, from safer and more sustainable cities to real-time healthcare, connected mobility, immersive entertainment experiences, and educational opportunities in remote locations.

Winner

ElderAI won with its AI-based healthcare system for seniors that used wearables and real-time monitoring to support active ageing, track health, detect risks, and reduce loneliness by connecting users with families and caregivers.

Optichar
Brisa

Intelligent Roads, Faster Decisions

This category challenged participants to bring AI to the road by developing solutions that saw, thought, and decided before we did. The challenge was to use artificial intelligence, IoT, computer vision, digital twins, and predictive analytics to transform how highways and mobility infrastructures were managed, making them smarter, safer, and more sustainable.

Winner

The award in this category was given to Optichar, a smart mobile decision-support app that optimized electric vehicle trips, reduced waiting times, and improved overall efficiency. It stood out for its integrated digital queue system, allowing users to predict wait times, reserve a spot, and choose the most efficient charger.

NetZero
Unicre

Payments Without Limits

This category explored the future of payments, focusing on technologies that made transactions smarter, faster, and more inclusive. It covered areas such as embedded payments, open banking, data insights, and sustainable finance to drive business and social impact.

Winner

NetZero stood out with a technological solution capable of determining whether consumers' behaviours qualified for sustainability incentives, such as discounts or cashback rewards. Using transactional data analysis and machine learning, the platform helped banks, retailers, and energy companies align business strategies with environmental goals while improving customer engagement and retention.

O.A.S.I.S.
Mext

Future of Urban Living

This category challenged participants to develop cross-industry digital solutions that connected technology, design, and social innovation to shape the cities of tomorrow. The goal was to combine artificial intelligence, IoT, and data analytics to create inclusive, human-centered experiences, from smarter housing systems to platforms that strengthened community ties and urban well-being.

Winner

The winning project was O.A.S.I.S., which developed a semi-autonomous construction robot that detected risks in real time and improved worker safety. It could move on its own to deliver immediate support (such as water or protective gear) and issue alerts to help prevent accidents and reduce risks.

IGNISense
Veolia

Sustainability Prize

For the first time, TecStorm introduced this €1000 special prize, powered by Veolia, our sustainability partner, recognizing projects with real-world sustainability impact and scalable environmental solutions.

Winner

IGNISense received the "Most Sustainable" project award, with an intelligent network of sensors installed in strategic locations to monitor temperature, humidity, and gases, improving early detection and intervention in fires.
